The year ended with a wonderful surprise, I was selected as one of the Top 50 Established Photographers of the year by an organization I hold in very high esteem, The Twelfth Year.
This was my first time entering The 12th Year's competition because this is the first year they offered a division for established photographers. I am thrilled to be part of their inaugural group. They defined established as 5 years or more and since I'm heading into 9, I definitely fit that category.
I submitted ten images and one was chosen for the publication. This week I had the opportunity to chat with the 12th year founder and gained some feedback on my images and scores. Compliments are wonderful, but hearing constructive comments through someone else's eyes is always powerful. Offering this feedback is a huge commitment on The 12th Year but really sets its print competition apart from other education sites.
Thank you to my wonderful clients who offer me continual sources of inspiration. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve you.
